NEWS & EVENTS
Dear Friends,
Monday October 25, 2010 is Municipal Election Day. I am running for re-election to Ottawa City Council so that I can continue our work together on many local and city-wide issues that are a priority for our residents, organizations and businesses.
Like you I love this community. Downtown Ottawa is a great place to live and we need to protect that quality of life for all of our citizens. During the last term it was my privilege to work with so many individuals, community groups and organizations on the things that matter, like a cleaner and healthier city, vibrant retail and residential neighbourhoods, sensible and sustainable transportation options and human services for recreation and housing.
During my campaign I will be running on my record as City Council’s leader on the environment, better planning for safe and healthy neighbourhoods, and working to assist all age and income groups. Somerset Ward is a diverse community with many challenges and I am looking forward to the upcoming campaign.
Thank you for your continued support,
Diane Holmes
